August - Another Month ; More Toner Cartridge

It's been another month at Discount Ink Cartridges, thank you for your ongoing support to this site, we have now almost completed updating our Remanufactured Toner Printer Cartridges, so be sure to go and have a look for bargains.

Information & Tips - INK CARTRIDGE

One thing that we must remember when buying ink cartridges and saying prints approximately ---- pages, it is usually only 5% coverage, and that means how much ink is actually printed on a A4 page using a standard 10 px size font. This is also only act as a guildlines rather then standards. Some issues that might affect the life of an ink cartridge are:

Larger fonts
BOLD
Underlining
Pictures
Letter heads

Troubleshooting Tips:

The quality of you inkjet printer output may not always be the ink cartridge itself and are commonly caused by other factors here are the common problems and the possible caused:

PROBLEM 1: Blank Lines Across Your Page.
1. Air locks in inkjet nozzle - Purge or prime printer -see your owner’s manual.

2. Blocked inkjet nozzles -Clear nozzles -see your owner’s manual.

3. Faulty inkjet nozzle -Clean nozzles -replace if there is no improvement.

PROBLEM 2: Furry Or Unshaped Edges On Print.

1. Paper is not suitable for printer -Use more suitable paper for print job.

2. Wet or damp paper -Allow paper to dry or open new pack of paper.

3. Resolution setting too low on printer -Adjust printer resolution in printer properties.

4. Low-resolution image being printed -Try to get a higher resolution image to print or enhanced software.

PROBLEM 3: Light Or Faded Colours.
1. Paper is not suitable for the print job -Use more suitable paper for the print job.

2. Ink cartridge is almost empty -Get a new ink cartridge.

3. Printer is not real colour-compatible -Use highest resolution papers possible & best print mode for best output. Update to new printer.

Remember to always upgrade you software, for the printer, go to the manufacturers website and look for upgrades, new printer driver, often help save ink and prodcue better quality
